MiM;
That may have been me on occasion, as I spend a fair amount of my spare time there..

North Cornwall/Devon is very rainy and windswept in the winter months, that's why you need a good wood burner and plenty of firewood and single malts!

I know Bude quite well and weirdly was reading about the place earlier. The beaches round there are gorgeous. Furthest town in the country from a train station apparently. Some very weird and wonderful people walking about every time I've been. And surprisingly (to some anyway) literally always seen at least one West Ham shirt about. Personally couldn't live there during winter though.

Thank you for appreciating my home city East Auckland. There are a surprising number of West Ham fans living here, mainly born and bred. We have had good times travelling down to watch games back in the day. Happy days!

icws... exactly same as Compton... I mean they even do tours now there... not exactly sure whether they might do that on the Farm mind you?

1) Ulverston - Laurel & Hardy museum
2) Bude - North Cornwall coast and just up the road from a great dog friendly beech (@ Widemouth bay).
3) Dunster - North Somerset, lovely little market town with a couple of great pubs, near to the coast and close enough to the Somerset cricket if you get the urge...

Since the regeneration, Broadwater Farm now has one of the lowest crime rates of any urban area in the world. In the first quarter of 2005, there were not any reported robberies or outdoor assaults on Broadwater Farm, and only a single burglary, from which all property was recovered and the suspect arrested; this compares with 875 burglaries, 50 robberies and 50 assaults in the third quarter of 1985, immediately preceding the riot.[7] In an independent 2003 survey of all the estate's residents, only 2% said they considered the area unsafe, the lowest figure for any area in London.[26] The estate also has the lowest rent arrears of any part of the borough.[6]

My holidays as a youth were spent at leysdown.

North Norfolk
Lake District
The Weald
Dengie Peninsula
Anywhere really away from cunts. Plenty of fantastic spots on our little spot on the planet.

Somewhere fucking remote in the Highlands with no internet or cell phone signal would be ideal.

Won't be leaving Chelmsford during the cricket season OBVIOUSLY.
